Atlantis keeps surfacing in the story through half-decoded signals, relic energy sources, diplomatic messages, submarine journeys, and time anomalies that nobody on the surface fully understands. The city is ancient enough to feel mythic, but modern enough to argue about firmware, archives, and network stability.
